The great thing about WordPress websites is the they can be made with a much lower hourly investment. I can take care of the full process of getting your website working for you from design to development to search engine optimisation.
Upon completion of your website, you can make minor changes and additions yourself which can also help keep the website within your budget. Of course if you’d rather not deal with it at all I can stay on and charge hourly for regular update work.
I have a few packages for you to consider depending on the size and purpose of your website.

One Pager – $450
My single page website design package offers a simple yet effective solution to showcase your business or brand online.
With all content condensed into a single scrolling page, this package is ideal for those looking for a minimalist design and straightforward user experience.
Includes:
- 3-4 sections of text or images
- A contact form to collect inquiries
- Social media links
- Site submission to Google, Bing and other search engines.
Happy Medium – $850
Expand your business by establishing a larger online presence with my mid level website design package.
It offers an affordable solution for businesses who need a professional and informative web presence with multiple pages and extra features supplied by additional plugins.
Includes:
- 3-5 Pages
- Can include multiple contact forms, password protected page for clients, team profiles, memberships, appointment or courses.
- Social media links
- Site submission to Google, Bing and other search engines.
Couch Commerce – $1450+
Our e-commerce website design package is tailored to help your business establish a strong online presence and drive sales through your website.
Includes:
- Everything from the Happy Medium Website package
- An online shop with multiple categories, tags, attributes, add ons, upsells and photos.
- I will add up to 25 items to your online shop, you will be given a Excel document to complete with item names and descriptions.
- One hour of training via zoom or in person to learn how to process and compete orders, make minor changes and add more items.
Hosting and Maintenance
I’m a bit of a control freak. I like having back end access to the websites I build so that I can alter settings, check out web traffic stats and change settings like spam, email and folder protection. To keep this control in my hands I have my own hosting server located in Sydney Australia which I host all my websites on.
My hosting and maintenance plan costs $55 per month and includes:
- Website Hosting on a Secure Australian Server
- 500MB of Storage Space with Unlimited Bandwidth
- Maintenance of a SSL Certificate
- Daily Backups
- Monthly WordPress and Plugin Updates
- Monthly Database optimisation and cleanup
- Access to Advanced Plugins for Site Design, Page Speed and SEO
- Monthly Edits – up to 15 Minutes of quick edits
Total Cost of a Website
Domain Registration ($15 – $25 per year) + Design Cost ($450 – $1450 and beyond) + Ongoing Hosting ($55 per month)
Yes a website is an ongoing cost and also yes there is cheaper options out there!
There is a huge range of prices from designers and developers so it’s easy to get confused. There are different skill levels of designer/developers. They work with different systems (Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, WordPress etc). They have different levels of education behind them regarding the coding languages websites are written in such HTML, PHP and CSS.
Because of this, I don’t price match. With me you get my skills, my service and my obsessive compulsive need to make beautiful websites that satisfy search engine optimisation guidelines, website disability practices and copyright legislation.
